Oléron Island

 L’île d’Oléron: Territory The second largest French metropolitan island l’île d’Oléron, in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region, also has the name of Luminous Oléron, referring to its amazing hours of sunshine. 

Lying off the Atlantic coast and with very easy access by viaduct, the island stands out because of its tranquillity and protected natural scenery, 100km of coastline, and 3,000ha of forest that are ideal for discovering on foot or by bike.
